Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan the Founder of the United Arab Emirates

• Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan was born in 1918 in AlAin. He was the youngest of the four sons of Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler of Abu Dhabi from 1922 to 1926.

• Sheikh Zayed has been President of the United Arab Emirates since the formation of the Union on 2 December 1971 and Ruler of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi since 1966.

• Within weeks of ruling, Sheikh Zayed established a massive development program that built schools, hospitals, roads and housing, and worked on the extension beyond the borders of Abu Dhabi.

• Sheikh Zayed has built many institutions such as hospitals, schools and universities through the use of huge oil revenues in the country. And the cost of external health care for those families who are unable to afford the living expenses.

• 

  Sheikh Zayed has supported women's rights and seeking equality between women and men, in addition to enhancing Emirati women in all fields for example: political, social and economic  to participate in the overall development process in the country.

• Sheikh Zayed was one of the most prominent leaders of the twentieth century. With its consistent, ongoing and tireless relationship to initiatives capable of establishing a federal state comprising seven emirates, including a large part of the south-east of the Arabian gulf, where the flag of the Union, security, order, discipline and justice. Sheikh Zayed has been keen to see the wise vision of many of his achievements in the Gulf region, especially in the context of contributing to the establishment of the Gulf Cooperation Council, as well as in the context of economic and humanitarian entities and social organizations, Arab and Islamic. At the international level, Zayed has gained the respect and admiration of world leaders, for he has never ceased to call for peace and justice in the world.

• Sheikh Zayed believed that the sources of emotional, moral and spiritual energy are an integral part of national awareness, culture, construction, humanity and civic education, as well as in the field of the Islamic approach, where the virtues of human dignity are reflected in cooperation, unity, solidarity, mercy, brotherhood and sacrifice. The sources of power are work, which leads to prosperity and prosperity. Sheikh Zayed was a peaceful thinker who saw power as necessary if the state was unable to protect itself or preserve its national identity.

I am an ENS student who is seeking to finish high school and graduate to serve this country in every possible way, and take on what Shiekh Zayed taught us and preserve it and teach it to others and to the next generation. we as citizens of this country we must prevent Shiekh Zayed's legacy from fading and dying therefor its our duty to protect and live on it.
